About Phil
Phil Lawrence has been a Pilot Boat Captain and Maintenance Director for Boston Harbor Pilots. Transferring pilots to and from ships underway offshore for the last 10 years.
He ran high speed ferries from Cape Cod and New Bedford to both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard for over 20 years. He’s worked in the commercial fishing industry and in a marine oil company operating a tug and barge unit servicing the New Bedford fishing fleet. He quickly learned his way around engine rooms and became interested in marine maintenance.
Phil has been passionate about boats and the sea since a very young age when he’d spend time on his Uncle’s fishing boat on Martha’s Vineyard. He has amassed an enormous knowledge and talent for troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise.
Phil’s passion has led him to start his own business helping you operate your boat worry free. Phil lives by the old adage “Do what you love, Love what you do”, no matter what you need him for, you won’t be disappointed.
